Across the Mersey via the tunnel and out to the Wirral coast — Leigh covers CH47 and knows that the marine promenade parking is no place to linger with a full van.
CH47 covers the north-western tip of the Wirral — Hoylake and Meols along the coast, and West Kirby at the mouth of the Dee estuary. The housing stock is predominantly Victorian and Edwardian: substantial semis with bay windows and tiled paths, some impressive detacheds in the roads backing onto Hoylake Golf Club, and the appealing terraced streets that run down toward the promenade in both towns.
West Kirby in particular has become one of the most sought-after addresses on the Wirral — properties here are well-maintained, often large, and the moves reflect that. Leigh takes the time to quote properly and never rushes a job on the Wirral side.
