The Garston patch

L19 covers a wide sweep of south Liverpool — from the Speke estates adjacent to Liverpool John Lennon Airport, through Garston's terraced streets and riverside quarter, up to the more spacious semis along the Woolton Road corridor toward Allerton. It's a postcode that mixes tight back-to-backs with proper 1930s family homes, so every move is different.

Speke in particular has large 1950s social housing — now mostly private — with decent road access and good-sized rooms, but the narrow back-entries are worth knowing about. Towards Woolton Road the housing opens up and the moves get heavier.
